You ever have that moment where you meet a couple and think, “Whoa, we could be BEST FRIENDS!” I had that moment with Brooke and Damien. Not only are they super sweet and cool, but we also share a love for dogs, margaritas and queso.

Brooke and Damien reached out to me on Instagram to ask if I would photograph their Tiburon Golf Course wedding. How could I say no to my newfound queso besties? And I’m so happy I got to be a part of their special day because it was a blast from start to finish.

A Small-Town Love Story

Brooke and Damien met at a Nebraska football game and clicked immediately. Over their three years together, they moved to a small town, got the cutest Golden Retriever, and started a fantastic life together. And to this day, they still call each other nicknames and break out into song!

Both Brooke and Damien looked terrific for their Tiburon Golf Course wedding. Brooke wore a breathtaking wedding dress with a modern neckline and a lovely train. Damien was so dashing in his black suit and tie.

They had a blast getting ready at the venue; but before too long, it was time for us to do first-look photos!

The Happiest Tiburon Golf Course Wedding

I had a chance to explore the grounds with Brooke and Damien before the wedding, and they were so sweet together. I loved watching them giggle and laugh together; they were naturals in front of the camera!

Soon, we joined the rest of the guests at this rustic church on the golf course, where Brooke and Damien vowed their love and commitment to each other. The entire bridal party and all the wedding guests cheered for the happy couple. But we still had to get to the reception!

The bridal party got onto the party bus, where drinks, music and snacks were waiting for them. We had a great time celebrating, and it felt like a pre-game party with all your best friends.

Once we reached the reception, everyone relaxed into just enjoying the day and toasting the happy couple. I even brought Brooke and Damien a special treat: chips, queso and margaritas! After the reception dinner, the guests cleared away the tables, singing and dancing long into the night.

Final Thoughts on this Tiburon Golf Course Wedding

Some people wonder if being a wedding photographer is ever boring. The truth? NEVER! How could I be bored around amazing couples like Brooke and Damien?

Their electric energy and good-times attitude made my job so much fun, and I was so grateful to be a part of their wedding day. Great couples like them are why I love my job so much.

When looking for a wedding photographer, it’s important to find someone you connect with. And I feel pretty confident saying we had a great connection right from the start. I’m so happy for Brooke and Damien, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things they accomplish together.
