These days, the idea of marrying your high-school significant other seems pretty far-fetched. Luckily, that wasn’t the case for Anna and Mason! These high-school sweethearts reached out to me to photograph their A View West Shores summer wedding.

Let me tell you, Anna and Mason are the CUTEST couple. And getting to shoot their wedding was such a privilege. Plus, shooting A View West Shores summer wedding was something out of a dream!

High-School Sweethearts

Anna and Mason met in 8th grade and dated throughout high school and college. They’ve wanted to get married for a long time, so it felt like a dream come true watching them finally tie the knot! 

Their proposal story was pretty adorable, too. Mason planned on proposing, but thanks to the rain, he had to adjust his plan about ten times! After he finally popped the question, and Anna (of course) said yes, they came out to clear skies and a rainbow. How cute is that?

A View West Shores Summer Wedding To Remember

The entire wedding party was so excited to celebrate Anna and Mason on their big day. The bridesmaids wore gorgeous, silky rust-colored dresses, and the groomsmen wore clean, tan suits to match Mason’s crisp suit. Anna wore a stunning cream-colored wedding dress with a classic train and veil.

Anna and Mason wanted a simple but sweet ceremony for their wedding. They stood before their friends to say their vows, celebrating their faith and love for one another. It was a beautiful, sunny day on the lake, perfect for A View West Shores summer wedding.

There were so many happy tears and laughter during this beautiful ceremony. But that wasn’t the end of the day for this happy couple. It was time to cut a rug and celebrate at the wedding reception!

Dinner, Dancing And A Dazzling Exit

After the ceremony, the guests went to the ballroom for a plated dinner while Anna and Mason came with me to take their wedding photos. I had a blast wandering around A View West Shores with them, snapping pictures along the sunny grounds. We joined the rest of the party at the ballroom, where Anna and Mason were greeted with cheers all around.

The dinner was delicious, and the toasts brought tears to my eyes! It was inspiring to see how much Anna and Mason love one another and how much their loved ones care for them. Once dinner was over, the staff cleared the tables to make room for some serious dancing.

At the end of the night, Anna and Mason had A View West Shores summer wedding sendoff for the books: sparklers, applause and an impromptu jump in the lake!

A View West Shores Summer Wedding: Looking Back On The Day

I love being part of special days like Anna and Mason’s A View West Shores summer wedding because they remind me that love is truly magical. These two have had their ups and downs, but they stuck it out and were clearly a match from the start. 

Life is too short to worry if things will turn out okay. It’s best to jump in, head over heels, with someone you love.
