This gorgeous Glacier National Park elopement had it all – mountains, sunsets, forests, romance, and …mountain goats? Yes, you read that right! 

Kiowa and Shiloe met in Washington, where they became friends over a shared love for bouldering and hiking. They dated for three years before tying the knot, and they say they love to rock climb, hike, camp, ride dirt bikes, snowboard, ‘and really just try anything fun that’s outside. We’ve really bonded over our love for people and the outdoors so that’s where we spend the most of our time!’ which made this Glacier National Park elopement perfect for them!

A Glowing Glacier National Park Elopement

To get to this overlook, we headed up a trail into the mountains. I’m not going to lie – this hike was HARD. But when we arrived, the beauty made it all worth it. The sunset was just incredible: everything was saturated in the most amazing orange glow. The wind blew over nearby plants and spread this white cotton into the air, which made for some really cool effects in the photos.

At one point, we looked up and saw that we had a wedding crasher! A mountain goat decided to check out our Glacier National Park elopement. Kiowa and Shiloe love animals (they even have a pet hedgehog!) so they were thrilled, and it definitely made the whole experience even more memorable.
