Emma + Jacob | Intimate Autumn Wedding at Lucile’s Old Market

This intimate wedding at Lucile’s Old Market had so many gorgeous boho details. Emma and Jacob had been friends for years before they finally got around to their first date – Jacob was so nervous that he had the same song on repeat the entire drive-in. These days, they’re one of the cutest couples around!

Emma and Jacob created a really thoughtful wedding day. They only had 30 of their close-knit friends and family attending, and the day was very laid-back and personal in the way that only events where everyone attending is super important to the couple can be. There were countless adorable moments, but I particularly loved photographing the first looks. Emma’s little time with her dad was one of those once-in-a-lifetime things that make doing my job so wonderful.

The Perfect Spaces at Lucile’s Old Market

The Lucile’s Old Market garden was the space for the ceremony, and the ivy-covered walls made it feel secluded and special. The red brick paving worked perfectly with the rusty oranges and neutral tones in the amazing floral work.

After the ceremony, everyone moved inside Lucile’s Old Market main space for the reception. The space was GORGEOUS! With dark wood paneling, gold detailing, and tall stained glass windows, it had the perfect warmth and grandeur for this autumnal and vintage wedding. A few details that made this wedding unique: instead of a guest book, Jacob and Emma had their guests sign a vinyl record. When the evening wrapped up, they drove away in a horse-drawn buggy!

Kind Words from Emma

“We loved having you as a photographer. When we knew we were getting married you were clearly the only option. I loved that you captured the little details so we can remember them forever in such a creative way. And I loved the vibe you brought that lifted everyone up and made us excited to get married!! “

The AWESOME team!
