This traveling wedding photographer took her adventure to Hawaii! Buckle up for a vibrant love and laughter captured against the breathtaking backdrop of Poipu, Kauai!

During my trip to Kauai, I met up with some amazing people that live on the island! This Kauai adventure session with McKenna and Stuart was such a blast!! We started our hike through some backroads and after about a mile we reached the shore. These two are a couple of sweethearts that are so youthful and fun! They are a joy to be around! I had the pleasure of capturing their love in one of their favorite spots on Kauai. This secluded beach in Poipu was a dream to photograph on. We were the only ones on the beach and the views were incredible! Stuart and McKenna are frequent visitors in this spot. Surfing is their jam! The dynamic duo brought a whole new meaning to the phrase “picture-perfect.”They truly have an infectious zest for life!

Seeing how comfortable they are out here in their home is surreal. We spent some time rolling around in the sand, playing in the ocean. After this, we hiked up to the cliff. This is where we watched the sunset and rainclouds move in! In Hawaii, rain or shine, it is absolutely stunning! What made this photoshoot truly special was the couple’s willingness to embrace the moment, letting their personalities shine through. No stiff poses or forced anything—just genuine, unfiltered love and laughter. Their playful banter and natural chemistry added an extra layer of magic to the already enchanting scene.

Stuart and McKenna grew up together on Kauai. When McKenna was 11 she fell in love with him and decided she was going to marry him! Around age 14 he returned the feelings and they started dating at age 14 and 15. They dated for 5 years and then parted ways after our first year of college. After 3 years of not taking at all, he reached out over Facebook. They met up for coffee a few times when he was home on Kauai and they decided to try again at a relationship. They got married a year later!! These two recently celebrated 2 years and have a 1 year old little guy named Maverick.
