Claire and Jake’s Roca Berry Farm wedding was the most fun to capture! The day started on such a note of sweetness, as Claire did the cutest first look moments with her dad and then with Jake. Getting to see the look on her father’s face when he turned around and saw her was priceless. I have to say that Jake’s reaction really melted my heart, though: he shed more than a few tears!

After the first looks, everyone assembled at the arbor for the ceremony part of this Roca Berry Farm wedding. With beautiful afternoon light and gentle blue skies, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. ‘Chill’ isn’t usually a word that people apply to weddings, but honestly, Claire and Jake were sooooo chill – it was the best.

Sunflower Sunsets at this Roca Berry Farm Wedding

One of the fun things about a Roca Berry Farm wedding is that you have access to the grounds for photos. That meant as the wedding photographer, I scouted the area and honed in on those sunflowers! So while all the guests enjoyed drinks at the Pioneer Barn, I stole the happy couple away for some sunset photos. These ended up being my favorite of the evening! Aren’t these two just the cutest?

With the pampas grass, greenery, and wooden signage giving a sense of shabby chic to the Pioneer Barn and the golden frames lending a modern edge, the whole reception venue looked amazing. Once Claire and Jake got back from their sunset portrait session, the party really started!
